Terms of Use

By using FlipZi, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application or website.

Permitted use

You may use FlipZi to display media, camera output, web content, or your screen when you have the right and permission to do so. You are responsible for the content you select and for complying with copyright, privacy, venue, network, and service-provider rules.

Web Video may analyze HTML media elements, supported page-player configuration, and media-shaped browser requests on a page you open inside FlipZi. After validation, a selected public media address may be sent directly to a compatible receiver, or supported progressive, HLS, or constrained non-DRM DASH resources may be temporarily relayed through your phone on local Wi-Fi. Website cookies and Authorization credentials are not forwarded to unauthenticated TVs. Unsupported formats, protected streams, key-bearing playlists, and incompatible receivers fall back to mirroring or the official service. FlipZi is a tool, not a content provider, does not promise compatibility with any website, and does not grant you rights to third-party content. You must not use FlipZi to circumvent DRM, licensing, access controls, technical protection measures, or service terms.

For YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Twitch, Reddit, X, VK, and OK, the standard release does not extract or relay browser-observed CDN media URLs. These services are limited to their official player or app handoff and screen mirroring unless FlipZi later receives documented authorization for a specific external-player integration. Internal restricted builds may enable direct stream research. By pressing Cast and confirm in such a build, you confirm that you own the content or are authorized to play it and that your use complies with applicable law, venue rules, and the source service terms. This acknowledgement does not grant content rights and does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Your devices and network

You are responsible for compatible devices, a suitable local network, system permissions, and any data or network charges. Keep pairing codes private and connect only to TVs and receivers you trust.

Compatibility

Results vary by phone, operating system, network, TV, receiver software, codec, and content provider. DRM, HDCP, browser, or publisher restrictions may prevent capture or playback. FlipZi does not promise compatibility with every device, website, or streaming service.

Advertising and availability

FlipZi may display advertising. Ad formats and placement may change over time. Features may also change, be suspended, or be discontinued as compatibility and platform requirements evolve.

Third-party services

Websites, app stores, operating-system casting services, television platforms, and advertising services are controlled by their respective providers and their own terms. A bookmark or generic detection capability does not mean a third-party website is supported or endorsed. FlipZi is not endorsed by or affiliated with Samsung, Google, Apple, social networks, streaming services, or media publishers unless expressly stated.

Disclaimer and limitation

FlipZi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted discovery, connection, playback, or compatibility. To the extent permitted by law, FlipZi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms.
